Last month Rachel, Lynda and I completed our first round of ‘Drop In’ sessions at the seven local primary schools. We would have had conversations with around 58 families. A huge thanks to everyone who took the time to pop in and have a chat we certainly enjoyed meeting or reconnecting with all of you. A big thanks also to the primary schools for hosting us.
These sessions were very much part of our ‘listening’ phase so it was great to field your questions and hear your ideas.
The main topics that seemed to emerge were [in no particular order];
1.Zoning and enrolment
2. Sporting opportunities
5. The building process
6. Personalised learning
7. Flexible learning spaces
8. The concept of learning coaches
9. The curriculum
We are planning numerous further opportunities to connect the College with the community over the rest of the year and we will keep you posted regarding the nature and dates for these events.
